Ten Things Tuesday

1. The weather is yucky here. It has been in the teens for a week which is unusual for here. Well now it is warming up so we are getting snow and freezing rain until tomorrow when it warms up and rains for three days straight.

2. I have my annual today and then a dentist appt and urologist appt on Thursday.

3. I need to decorate my house for Christmas...it is kind of half decorated.

4. I am making cookies Saturday and Sunday. I have so much to make!

5. I am hosting a cookie decorating play date on Friday the 20th but only two people have RSVP'd so far. It will be more fun if a few more people come.

6. I need stamps.

7. Christmas is coming up fast! Our first family Christmas with DH's Mom's Dad's family is on the 21st.

8. DH might have the week from Christmas to New Year's off. Sounds good but it won't look pretty on the next paycheck.

9. We are meeting with a financial planner on the 27th to finally do something about retirement and life insurance. Bad timing though because of the short paycheck and DH will start paying for DD's health insurance on January 1st.

10. I hate budgeting.

1. I hate that the IPad will make this a paragraph 2. I really hope this storm just blows over and my flight isn't cancelled tomorrow 3. I called DH this morning and he had already called to check on my flight :-) 4. He also already started making food for the party! (Love him :x ) 5. I'm spending way too much time on my iPad lately, I should probably nest a little less 6. I wish I could go for a walk, but I'm paranoid that I'll slip and fall because I'm a super clutz and normally that's ok, but you know, baby and all 7. I think I'm going to make some perogies, yum 8. I don't feel like I have a right to complain about anything in my pregnancy because I am miraculously pregnant and plenty if other people aren't and wish they were. 9. I am very thankful for everything I have 10. I can't wait for my appt in Monday

1. Lexi had a full blown out tamper tantrum that started at 6:15 and didn't end until 7:10. That was not a fun morning to get her going to school.

2. I'm feeling rather confident about a lot of things lately. I just hope this feeling lasts.

3. I had Cinnamon Apple Jacks cereal for lunch today. I love breakfast.

4. It's snowing outside, and I'm contemplating on whether or not I want to leave work and head home.

5. If I were to head home, I'm changing myself and Lexi into pajamas and we will watch superhero movies until DH gets home.

6. I want pizza for dinner. I think I'll make homemade cheesy bread with marinara sauce to dip.

7. Did I ever mention how much I love food?

8. DH and I took Lexi and our pup Mickey to get their Santa pictures at the mall yesterday. Mickey wouldn't sit still so we ended up in the picture. I look like a mess with no makeup and a nice sweater. At least DH wore the sweater he was going to wear for Christmas. It's still a nice picture. I'll have to post it later.

9. I got DH into Dr. Who, which I only got into it a few weeks ago. I'm still stuck on the first season because anytime I have the feeling to watch it (usually its when I'm alone), DH refuses to let me watch it without him.

10. I want to sleep.

1.  I had my monthly appt today and was late to it because of the stupid ice.

2.  I got to hear the heartbeat and it was in the 160s!

3.  I have my elective u/s tomorrow to hopefully find out the sex!  I can't wait!!

4.  I can't wait until Jan when I finally have insurance again.

5.  I really want a grilled cheese and some tomato soup.

6.  I am sad that I still haven't felt the baby move!

7.  I want my bloodwork results back for my 2nd trimester screening.  It's been over a week now!

8.  I have only done a little bit of Christmas shopping and it's stressing me out.

9.  I just am not feeling Christmas this year 

10.  At least on Christmas day I will officially be 20 weeks and halfway there!

1.  I get sad every day when I finish my lunch - I always want more!

2.  I've never been a big cereal person, but during this pregnancy, I haven't been able to get enough.  I've tried so many new kinds - Golden Grahams are my current fave.

3.  I'm starting to wonder if all 10 things are going to be food-related ;-)

4.  I have my 37-week appointment on Thursday, and I think I might let them do a cervix check.  I declined last week, because I know it doesn't actually mean much, but I'm getting antsy.  (And we found out last week that sometime between 34 and 36 weeks, baby decided to flip to head down.  Yay!)

5.  The nursery is completely and totally done, as of Sunday.  I love going in there and just sitting in the glider

6.  I've been so lucky, and have had such an easy pregnancy, but all of a sudden, I've gotten REALLY uncomfortable.  These last few weeks are no joke.

7.  I miss being able to exercise and run like normal.  I walked the dog around our neighborhood yesterday, about 1.75 miles, and today my legs are killing me.

8.  I joined a small local mom's group that has some moms with newborns, and some other ladies who are expecting, like me.  I'm not much of an extrovert, but everyone is really sweet and nice, and I'm so glad I tried it out.

9.  20 days!  Yikes!

10.  I'm looking forward to meeting LO, but I'm still terrified of the labor process.  I'm hoping the discomfort starts to outweigh my fear sometime soon

@amuccul20 I found a really awesome recipe on pinterest (for the bread sticks). I just read it and it takes an hour and a half for the dough to rise. I'm sad it's going to take that long. I guess I could do some laundry while its rising.

1. i'm hungry. esp after reading all the 10 things tues posts!

2. i'm annoyed my monthly checkup was moved from Wednedsay to Tuesday, and then was cancelled today and now I have to wait until Thursday. 

3. I don't feel pregnant. i'm at that weird in between where i'm not showing, don't have symptoms...

4. I considered asking MIL to give me and u/s tonight but then realized I didn't want her to find out the sex yet so decided against it....I wonder if she has a doppler

5. I need to swing by Toy's R Us tonight to pick up my neices christmas gift.  I ordered it online to get my ebates rewards but I didn't want to pay for shipping so I decided to pick it up  instore...

6. I just finished lunch so i'm thinking its too early to eat again....water and then cheese!

7. my sister is moving out of my house this weekend after staying with us for 1.5 years!! so excited I can't stand it.  that said, her lazy ass hasn't even started packing yet. we'll see how this goes

1. My aunt is having a Christmas party for her employees tonight and we are invited.

2. I bought DD a cute knitted dress from Target for said party.

3. She will be wearing black tights with it but I need a black short sleeve onesie for under it but I don't know where to get it.

4. I also need to get black dressy shoes for DD.

5. DH took care of DD this morning so that I could sleep in a little longer. It was awesome!

6. I should be getting ready.

7. We are going to see some more SUVs today

8. My dad is annoying and I hate his gf. I used to be on her side until I saw some messages about me. She really hates me and I don't know why.

9. I'm almost done Christmas shopping.

10. I need to send my gift and I also need stamps. Lol.

1.  We got our play mat in the mail yesterday; someone bought it off our registry and it's way cuter than I remembered it to be. 

2.  I hate days when Baby is quiet.  It makes me nervous!

3.  I'm really hoping for a snow day sometime between now and Christmas vacation. I know, I know....I have vacation coming up, so I really shouldn't be complaining.  I just would love to have a day off because of snow.  It feels so Christmas-y and it'd be so fun to just sit at home with Christmas movies all day and wrap presents.

4.  I'm terrified of childbirth.  I've always been afraid of it, but after our childbirth class this past weekend, I think I'm even more afraid.  I'm such a wimp.

5.  I'm kinda obsessed with cereal lately.  I actually miss it if I have something else for breakfast.

6.  I'm feeling a little tempted to registry stalk.  I had told myself I wouldn't do it, but I have seen some things by accident (going on to change something or to see if something is discontinued), so at this point I kinda figure it's no big deal if I peek....

7.  I loooove the girl name we have picked out.  I like the boy name a lot, too, but it's not my favorite; DH and I have a very hard time agreeing on boy names, so there's not much to pick from.

8.  We changed the bedding set we registered for from being a gender neutral one to 2 gender specific ones (one girl, one boy....just in case that wasn't obvious ).  It's the only gender specific stuff on our registry and I'm pretty excited about it. 

9.  I love wrapping Christmas presents.  A lot.

10.  The dog is lying next to me and she looks very cute all curled up.
